The United States of Spain

The United States of Spain

This year is the 245th anniverary of the Declaration of Independence, a historical step that gave birth to this great nation. Our most sincere congratulations to the people of the USA and to the Spaniards that made it possible with their contributions.

The Legacy is pleased to present to you The Secret Document that we have fruitfully recovered. We briefly highlight Three hundred years of history about the unknown map of the Viceroyalty of Spain. A fundamental part of our history that we should all be aware off and take upon the responsibility of learning and teaching.

Many years before the existence of the Untied States of America existed the Untied States of Spain, a group of provinces that expanded over a half of the north American territory, California, Oregón, Nevada, Idaho, Colorado, Nuevo México, Kansas, Montana, Florida, Alabama, The  Mississippi and even Alaska were Spanish territories with a wide variety of names, Nueva Vizcaya, Nuevo León, Nuevo Santander, Nueva Navarra, Nueva Extremadura.

In this poster we have created, it is clearly shown that in  1776, the year the Declaration of Independence was signed, Spanish territory in North America occupied a vast expanse. These lands remained under Spanish control for more than 200 years and continued to be known as New Spain until the 19th century.

This poster is available via the link provided bellow, thanks to the support of the Spanish Ministry of Defense. In fact we are sending you the poster for free to your home, the cost for shipment (Spanish territory)  is 5 euros and it is available in English and Spanish.
We trust that many orders are made so that we can become “viral”, we need you to share and send it to your kids school, to your friends university and to the headquarters of the top 500 companies in Spain and the US. Please send us the photo of where the poster is shown publicly and we will happily publish them.

This is our Legacy and we have the right to know it, to be able to study it, research it and teach it.

Thank you for 5 successful years.
We continue “Learning to Defend Our History”.
