The Legacy successfully culminated its project to hang a commemorative plaque at the Naval Museum in Annapolis which was presented by the General Admiral López Calderón. The Defense Minister also presented the Farragut Association and Menorca’s book to the CNO (Chief Naval Operations) Admiral Richardson at the US Naval Academy.

En el marc del conveni de col·laboració que en 2015 van establir l'institut menorquí d'Estudis i l'associació espanyola sense ànim de lucre The Legacy, que es dedica a la recerca de les relacions i patrimoni historic que vincula Espanya amb els Estats Units al llarg del segles, el Ministeri de Defensa acaba d'editar una complerta publicació, d'unes 260 pàgines en castellà i en anglès, sobre el llegat espanyol a la U.S. Navy.
